Truist Time Trials Truist Time Trials What are the ATC10K Truist Time Trials ATC10K Truist Time Trials are a week long race that welcomes competition back into our sport with alternative, in-person events as well as virtual! These include: • Truist Time Trials 10K • Second Chance • 50K Challenge • Virtual Truist Time Trials 10K Learn more about each event! How long do I have to defer or refund my registration? Runners who registered for the 2020 Around the Crown 10K have until Thursday, October 15th to make their decision for their 2020 running plans. How do I register for the ATC10K Truist Time Trials? We're excited to be working with Race Roster for 2020 and beyond! We have moved our registration to their website and you can find more info including COVID Precautions, Course Map, and pricing for our race here. How do I defer to the 2021 Around the Crown 10K? We're excited to have our 2021 date secured for Sunday, September 5th so you know exactly when you'll be running on I-277 next year. Be sure to defer before the cutoff, Thursday, October 15th. 1. Sign in to your RaceRoster dashboard 2. Click our race (ATC10K Truist Time Trials) under "Recent registrations" 3. Hit the big blue button at the top right that says "Edit registration" 4. View all options available and select defer How do I get a refund for my 2020 Around the Crown 10K registration? We understand if you would like your registration refunded, but we hope to see you back on I-277 in years to come. Be sure to request your refund before the cutoff on Thursday, October 15th. 1. Up until Thursday, October 15th, runners are welcome to update their registration on RaceRoster following these steps: 1. Sign in to your RaceRoster dashboard 2. Click our race (ATC10K Truist Time Trials) under "Recent registrations" 3. Hit the big blue button at the top right that says "Edit registration" 4. View all options available and select which option you'd like What precautions are you taking during the COVID pandemic? We have worked with local health officials to make the ATC10K Truist Time Trials as safe as possible. Please reference our race info page to learn more about what we're doing and how you can help. What is an open/live course? An open, or live, course means that this event is operated similar to a run club in that we do no have the assistance of local police and traffic will be operating as normal. We have designed our course to have minimal crossings and more than 60% of the course is on greenways or shared streets with the rest on sidewalks. Please abide by local laws and always use cross walks when you must cross the street. Is the race chip timed? Yep, it certainly is! Thanks to our event management team, Start2Finish, this is going to look and feel just like you remember racing! As a reminder, this is a live course, but you will have a chip on your bib to let you know how you compare to the rest of the field. Is there a pace requirement for this race? There is not a pace requirement for the ATC10K Truist Time Trials. Walkers, dogs, and all ages are welcome! As always, we ask that you be aware of other runners and walkers on the sidewalk and greenways and shift to the right when necessary. How can I enter the Second Chance? All runners will receive an email once you've completed your first go at our 10K course. From there, you will be able to register for our Second Chance for $10 and select your new date and time! How does the 50K Challenge work? The 50K Challenge is completed once you run the course 5 separate times. This can be done in one day or in six. Once you select this option in registration, we will email you a link to select your dates and times!
