It's time to knock off your fall half marathon by seeing your city from every angle possible.
Fool’s Gold 13.1 Miler
This half marathon around the streets of the Queen City is a homage to the city’s rich history during the gold rush in the early 1800’s. The course resembles a pot of gold overspilling into the newly formed Gold District just south of Uptown. Runners will have the opportunity to see I-277 from both directions as they’ll loop around and go “with traffic” after running against it for the first 4 miles. All participants who finish this inaugural 13.1 miles on Charlotte’s inner beltway will receive a 13 karat medal at 2.77 inches in diameter roughly valued at $704 each.
